FEHB-cov-code must be fix or FEHB enroll entered |
Description
This error occurs when:
- A non-HCUP NOAC separation action is submitted.
- IRIS Program IR115, Health Benefits, displays a FEHB Coverage Code of 1-Enrolled.
- The 1-Health benefit type is not displayed on any of the employee's IRIS Program IR115 screens.
The Agency should either correct the FEHB Coverage Code or process a new FEHB document as follows:
- Changing the status of the FEHB Coverage Code to the correct value (e.g., 2-Waived)
- Submitting the appropriate FEHB document for enrollment, if necessary
This error occurs when a NOAC separation action is submitted; however, this error may occur in the employee’s history when either:
- A HCUP package was done.
Note: Certain HCUP packages with separation and accession entries set the FEHB Coverage Code as 4-Eligible - Pending. Separately, the Agency must submit another FEHB document with the correct starting dates for FEHB coverage or any other pay actions to cover any changes related to the HCUP package.
OR
- Other FEHB entries (NOAC 915, 180/181) were done to change the FEHB Coverage Code.
Note: This error appears if the Agency didn’t ensure that the FEHB Coverage Code has the correct value after one of the above changes was done prior to the latest employee’s NOAC separation action.
