Granting Roles
HR Administrators have the responsibility of assigning roles to new employees on the Employee Profile page.
To Assign Roles to Employees:
- Select the employee from the Select Employee page or Search Results page following the directions found in Selecting an Employee or Searching for an Employee.
- Select the button on the Search Results page. The Employee Profile page is displayed.
- Check the applicable role for the employee.
Timekeeper - Check the Local/Prior Correction box to give the timekeeper the ability to process local and prior corrections in addition to regular corrections. For more information on types of corrections, see the T&A Corrections section in the webTA 3.8 Timekeeper Procedure.
Supervisor - Check the Self Certify box to allow the supervisor to certify their own T&A.
Master Timekeeper - Check the Local/Prior Correction box to give the timekeeper the ability to process local and prior corrections in addition to regular corrections. Check the Read Only box to give the master timekeeper read-only access.
- Select the button to save the employee profile.
