SPPS Main Menu

After you access SPPS Special Payroll Processing System, the Main Menu Screen is displayed showing three options.

Below is a brief description of each option.

• Quick Service Request (QSR) - Used to process certain salary payments based on criteria established by the Agency personnel office and NFC National Finance Center.
• Indebtedness (For Separations Only) - Used to record indebtedness for a separated employee, collect the indebted amount when possible, and process the final payment due the employee.
• Death Case - Used to process unpaid compensation to the beneficiary(ies) of a deceased employee.

To select an option from the Main Menu, type the option number at the Select (1-3) prompt and press Enter. The menu screen for the selected option is displayed. Follow the instructions.

Note: Instructions for options identified as "NFC National Finance Center Use Only" are not included in this procedure. These options can only be accessed by authorized NFC National Finance Center employees.
