Security Entry and Tracking System (SETS)

Inquiry

Inquiry is option 2 on the SETS Security Entry and Tracking System Menu. This option allows you to view data added to the SETS database.

To Inquire on a SETS Record:

1. Type 2 at the cursor.

   OR

   Position the cursor at Inquiry on the SETS Main Menu screen.

2. Select the Enter key. The Inquiry Menu screen is displayed with 10 options.

   Note: No updates can be made to an inquiry record.

   

Below is a brief description of each option.

• 1 Personnel Information — Used to view personnel information in SETS.
• 2 Other Personnel Information — Used to view other personnel information not included or retained in PPS Payroll/Personnel System (e.g., other last names used, other first names used, place of birth city, etc.).
• 3 Clearance Information — Used to view security clearance information (e.g., the level of security clearance and dates pertaining to security clearance).
• 4 Waivers — Used to view dates regarding the request and approval to waive a security investigation.
• 5 Security Forms — Used to view information on receipt of required security forms.
• 6 Name And Fingerprint Checks — Used to view dates on fingerprinting and name investigations.
• 7 Personnel Security – NAC/NACI Investigations — Used to view NAC/NACI investigations.
• 8 Personnel Security – Other Investigations — Used to view other types of investigations based on the sensitivity of the position (e.g., BI, LBI, etc.).
• 9 Billing Information — Used to view billing information (e.g., costs, fees, etc.).
• 10 Comments — Used to view free form information that pertains to the investigation.

To Access an Inquiry Menu Option:

1. Type the option number.

   OR

   Position the cursor next to the option.

2. Select the Enter key. The screen for the selected option is displayed.
