Reporting Period

Reporting Period allows the user to add, edit, or delete a reporting period in ITRS. Once the reporting period is updated by the user, it is added to the View Records field.

To Add a Reporting Period:

  1. On the Menu tab, select Reporting Periods link under the Data Tables Maintenance Column. The Reporting Period page is displayed.

  2. Complete the fields as follows:

    Field

    Description/Instruction

    REPORTING_PERIOD*

    Enter the applicable reporting period. The reporting period number corresponds to the applicable month. (e.g., October = 1, September = 12).

    *Required field.

    REPORTING_PERIOD_YEAR*

    Enter the applicable reporting period year.

    *Required field.

    BEGIN_DATE

    Enter the beginning date.

    END_DATE

    Enter the ending date.

    STATUS_FLAG

    Select Yes or No.

  3. Click Add. A system message appears stating Your record was successfully added.

To Update a Reporting Period:

  1. On the Menu tab, select Reporting Periods link under the Data Tables Maintenance Column. The Reporting Period page is displayed.

  2. Select Reporting Period to be updated from the View Record field.

  3. Update the applicable fields as follows:

    Field

    Description/Instruction

    Reporting_Period*

    System generated.

    Reporting_Period_Year*

    System generated.

    Begin_Date

    Update the field if applicable.

    End_Date

    Update the field if applicable.

    Status_Flag

    Update the field if applicable.

  4. Click Update. A system message appears stating Your record was successfully updated.

    OR

    Click Clear to clear the fields.

To Delete a Reporting Period:

  1. On the Menu tab, select Reporting Periods link under the Data Tables Maintenance column. The Reporting Period page is displayed.

  2. Select Reporting Period to be deleted under the View Records column.

  3. Click Delete. A confirmation pop-up message appears asking Are you sure you want to delete this transaction? This action cannot be undone.

  4. Click OK. A system message appears stating Your record was successfully deleted.

    OR

    Click Cancel.
