Bureaus

Bureau Record allows the user to add, edit, or delete the Bureau code record. Once the Bureau record is created, the Bureau transactions are recorded for that Agency.

To Add a Bureau Record:

  1. On the Menu tab, select Bureaus link under the Data Tables Maintenance column. The Bureau Add/Edit Record page is displayed.

  2. Complete the fields as follows:

    Field

    Description/Instruction

    BUREAU_CODE*

    Enter the applicable code.

    *Required field.

    DEPARTMENT*

    Enter the Department code.

    *Required field.

    BUREAU_ACRONYM

    Enter the Bureau acronym.

    BUREAU_NAME

    Enter the Bureau name.

    MISSION_AREA

    Enter the mission area.

    CSXE_AGENCY_CD

    Enter the External Data Entry Table (CSXE) Agency code.

    ACTIVE_FLAG

    Select Yes or No.

    NFC_Agency_CD

    Enter the NFC Agency code.

  3. Click Add. A system message appears stating Your record was successfully added.

    OR

    Click Clear to clear the fields.

To Update a Bureau Record:

  1. On the Menu tab, select Bureaus link under the Data Tables Maintenance column. The Bureaus add/edit record page is displayed.

  2. Under the View Records field select the Bureau record to be updated. The Bureau record information is populated.

  3. Update the applicable fields as follows:

    Field

    Description/Instruction

    Bureau_Code*

    System generated.

    Department*

    System generated.

    Bureau_Acronym

    Update field if applicable.

    Bureau_Name

    Update field if applicable.

    Bureau_Area

    Update field if applicable.

    Mission_Area

    Update field if applicable.

    CSXE_Agency_CD

    Update field if applicable.

    Active_Flag

    Update field if applicable.

    NFC_Agency_CD

    Update field if applicable.

  4. Click Update. A system message appears stating Your record was successfully updated.

    OR

    Click Clear to clear the fields.

To Delete a Bureau Record:

  1. On the Menu tab, select Bureaus link under the Data Tables Maintenance column. The Bureau Add/Edit Record page is displayed.

  2. Select Bureau record to be deleted from the View Records field.

  3. Click Delete. A confirmation pop-up appears asking Are you sure you want to delete the transactions? This action cannot be undone.

  4. Click OK. A system message appears stating Your record was successfully deleted.

    OR

  5. Click Cancel.
