Insight Procedure Manual
Insight is an enterprise-wide data warehouse and reporting solution with advanced reporting and business intelligence capabilities. Insight's functionality eases reporting whether a user is running an existing analysis, responding to ad hoc reporting requests, or using analysis for strategic planning.

Common Report Library
The Common Report Library, which is up-to-date based on Build 2 Go-Live, provides a resource library of approximately 42 “canned” reports related to different HR and business topics. In addition, the Common Report Library provides specific descriptions of report changes from Build 1.

FOCUS-to-Insight: Data Dictionary and Elements Mapping
The Insight Data Dictionary is a reference document for reporting users to understand the data available in Insight. The Data Dictionary includes the names and descriptions of data elements in Insight and their respective NFC source system.

The FOCUS-to-Insight Language Mapping document provides functional mapping, terminology, and defines comparison examples.

Stabilization Phase Appendices
The appendices for Personnel History (PERHIS) and Workforce Profile (WFP) are used to assist users in identifying specific elements that may be causing report failures upon the release of the Stabilization Phase enhancements in Spring 2015. Each appendix is divided into three sections, in order to most effectively outline all element changes.

Data
Insight includes data from several systems, including: PAYPERS, PERHIS, PAYTA, ABCO, PMSO, LIST, RETM, daily time and attendance data for NFC-hosted webTA and Paycheck8 customers, SET, MD-715, TMGT, POL Details, AI Details, and select EmpowHR elements.

Functionality
Users can download reports directly from the solution to several different file formats (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CSV or Text), as well as print to a local printer or PDF.

General Information
The Insight solution surpasses existing reporting tools by integrating multiple data sources into one tool to provide comprehensive reporting through a library of standard reports and ad hoc reporting functionality.

Report Building
While many different types of reports can be created in Insight, it is important to ask some key logical questions prior to and while building out an ad-hoc report.

Security and user access will be managed by NFC and the agency ASO using standard NFC access procedures.
