Record Retention Requirements

For T&A Time and Attendance data electronically transmitted to NFC National Finance Center, Agencies must maintain the certified T&A Time and Attendance report and all appropriate supporting documentation for a 6-year period in compliance with General Records Schedule (GRS)-2 and the General Accounting Office (GAO) audit requirements.

NFC National Finance Center will maintain the personal payment history required in the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) cases and court-ordered restorations as cited in the supplemental authorization NC1-16-79-5 to GRS-2.
