Taking Over as an Employee's Timekeeper
allows Timekeepers to take over as Timekeeper for employees assigned to other Timekeepers. A task is sent to the previous Timekeeper and HR Administrator notifying them of the change.
To Takeover as Timekeeper:
- Select the button from the Timekeeper Main Menu page. The Take Over as Employee's Timekeeper page is displayed.
- Enter the Employee's user ID in the text box, if known, and select the button.
OR
Select the ID . The Search for Employee page is displayed.

Employee's Last Name
Enter at least one character of the employee's last name.
Employee's First Name
Enter at least one character of the employee's first name.
Employee's SSN
Optional.
Enter the employee's SSN .
- Select the button. The Take Over as Employee's Timekeeper page is displayed. If the employee is found, the text box is populated, if more than one employee is found, the search results are displayed.
- Select the button. webTA assigns the user as the new Timekeeper and returns to the Timekeeper Main Menu page.
