Table 006, Appropriation Codes/Descriptions
Appropriation Codes/Descriptions is Table 006 on the MASC Table-Update menu. This option is used to add, replace, or delete Treasury symbols for appropriation codes, verification of appropriation code and Treasury symbol, and alpha descriptions for appropriation codes.
To add data to Table 006 Update Screen, complete the fields as follows:

Required, alphanumeric, 15 positions maximum Type the applicable Treasury symbol. |
Alpha Description 1 |
Required, alpha, 40 positions maximum Type the appropriation code description. |
Alpha Description 2 |
Optional, alpha, 40 positions maximum Type the appropriation code description. |

System generated Populated with the Treasury Accounting Symbol from the Shared Accounting Module (SAM) file of the the Department of the Treasury. |
