Cumulative Updates

Cumulative Updates is option 2 on the History Menu. This option is used to display the data element that was changed along with the old and new data.

To Access the Cumulative Updates:

  1. Type 2 at the cursor.

    OR

    Position the cursor next to the Cumulative Updates option.

  2. Select the Enter key to choose this option. The Cumulative Updates screen is displayed.

To View the Cumulative Updates Screen:

  1. Complete the fields as follows:

    SSNO

    Agency/Bureau

  2. Select the Enter key. The Cumulative Updates screen is displayed with the date of the change, the user ID number of the person who made the change, the element that was changed, and the old (From) and new (To) data. A system message is displayed:
    • If no history record exists for the SSNO, the message SSNO Has No History Info, Re-Enter SSNO is displayed.
    • If a history record exists for the selected SSNO, a summary record is displayed with the record ID number (assigned by NFC for control purposes), the type of investigation, the date the record was updated, and the user-ID number.

    The Name field is displayed as follows:

    Name

  3. Select the F8 key to scroll to the next page.

    At this point, the following options are available:

    • Select the F1 key to return to the summary screen to view another history record.
    • Select the F5 key to display the Help screen and to obtain assistance in completing any field.
    • Select the F12 key and repeat the above process or refresh the screen to query another individual’s record.
    • Select the applicable function key to perform another function or to exit.
