Current Charges represent all fees, royalties, rents, rates, and prices imposed for things of value an Agency provides to non-Federal entities and people.
Note: Charges include exchange revenue as defined in the Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS) Number 7, "Accounting for Revenue and Other Financing Sources and Concepts for Reconciling Budgetary and Financial Accounting." Charges do not include gains on the sale of property, plant, and equipment. It is USDA's intention to review all charges where the non-Federal recipient receives a special benefit.
