Security Entry and Tracking System (SETS)

System Interface

SETS Security Entry and Tracking System interfaces with the Payroll/Personnel System (PPS) and the Position Management System Online (PMSO) to access individual payroll/personnel and position data. SETS is updated after the Personnel Input and Edit Subsystem (PINE Personnel Input and Edit System) executes.

In the SETS Personnel Information record, the data element Personnel Type identifies employees, applicants, contractors, consultants, and volunteers.

For Personnel Type E (employee), all personnel information (Part I) is system generated when the accession action is processed and updated, and as appropriate when a change action is processed. Any changes to position data that result in the processing of a personnel action or a change to certain elements in PMSO Position Management System Online will systematically update the personnel information record in SETS.
