412 - Employee Ineligible for Acting Pay

Description

Error: An employee’s Social Security number (SSN) is not listed on Table 099 for acting pay eligibility.

Acting pay is granted to employees who substitute in the absence of their supervisor. Acting pay is for use by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing only. It is recorded on the Time and Attendance (T&A) Report by entering 1 or 2 in position 14 of the accounting data field.

In order for an employee to be eligible to receive acting pay, his/her SSN must be entered in Table Management System (TMGT) Table 099, Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Acting Pay.

NFC Action

Delete the code from the accounting data field and notify the Agency, if appropriate.
