271 - Invalid TC for Wage Marine Employee

Description

Error: Transaction code (TC) entered on the T&A is not valid for a Wage Marine employee.

Wage Marine employees (Pay Plan WM) of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and Smithsonian Institution (Federal) are allowed to use only the following TCs for recording time:

Base Hours: TCs 01, 35, 36, 37, 38, 50, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, and 69

Commuted Subsistence: TC 17 Suffix 7

Premium Pay: TCs 16, 21, 27, 29, 32, and 39

Absence without pay (AWOP): TCs 71, 72, 73, and 74

NFC Action

If the TC reported is for base pay, use one of the above TCs under Base Hours. If the TC reported is for overtime, delete and notify the Agency, if appropriate.
