241 - TC 31 Must Have TC 65, 66, 67, or 68 & Not > Base Hrs

Description

Error: Transaction code (TC) 31 is recorded without TC 65, 66, 67, or 68 or the hours recorded for TC 31 exceeds the basic tour of duty for the holiday.

TC 31 must be accompanied by TC 65, 66, 67, or 68 and cannot exceed the leave TC hours recorded for the holiday (e.g., TC 66 reflects 8 hours; TC 31 reflects 8 hours (or less); and any hours over 8 (for both TCs) would be recorded as overtime). Also, the administrative leave or other leave transaction code for the holiday must be recorded in the same week as TC 31.

NFC Action

Change TC 31 to TC 66 if tour of duty hours are less than the established tour and the hours recorded for TC 31 would complete the tour. If TC 31 exceeds the tour for the holiday, change the excess to overtime.
