239 - TC Invalid for Other Time

Description

Error: An invalid transaction code (TC) was entered in the Other Time area of the Time and Attendance (T&A) Report. The hours recorded in the regular time area (top part of T&A) are applicable to certain TCs. To identify the TCs that must be entered in the regular time area, see Table Management System (TMGT) Table 032, Transaction Codes, data element Other Flag. If this field displays N (Valid), the TC must be entered in the regular time area of the T&A; if it displays V, the TC must be entered in the Other Time area (bottom part of T&A) of the T&A.

The following TCs are valid for entry in the Other Time area of the T&A: 29, 32, 39, 40, 45, 46, 47, 48, 71, 72, 73, 74.

Exception: T&A entry for certain Agencies (Department of Commerce and General Accounting Office) may differ from above.
