220 - TC Suffix Invalid

Description

Error: The suffix is invalid for the transaction code (TC) entered on the Time and Attendance (T&A) Report.

The TC suffix is valid for the Federal Wage System (FWS) and other employees to record differential, union representation and to supplement certain transaction codes to vary their meaning (refer to the Time and Attendance Instructions for a list of TCs and valid suffix codes).

NFC Action

Determine the correct suffix based on the pay plan and/or TC if possible; otherwise, if the employee is a FWS employee, enter 1 in the Suffix field. If the employee is other than FWS, delete the suffix code.
