Pay Basis

Enter the pay basis for the salary the employee will receive for the position, which is fixed by law, regulation, or administrative action. For a list of valid codes, see the Pay Basis Table.

‎Must be blank for grade retention action.

‎Must be compatible with Basic Pay field (e.g., per annum salary must have Per Annum (PA ) pay basis).
