System generated Displays the SSN of the retiree, or in the case of a survivor annuitant, the SSN of the deceased retiree/employee. The HB identification number is the SSN of the person to whom the policy was originally issued and it will not change. The SSN field can and does change at the death of the annuitant, but the HB identification number does not. |
