Health Savings Added to Account Type Field in EmpowHR

Modified the Account Type field to display the Health Savings option in the Account Information section on the Financial Allotment/Health Savings Account page.

Implementation

  1. To enter a health savings allotment, select the Financial Allotment/Health Sav component from the Payroll Documents menu group. The Find an Existing Value page is displayed. This page allows the user to locate an existing employee in order to enter a financial allotment.
  2. Enter the search criteria.
  3. Select the Search button. The Financial Allotment/Health Savings Account page is displayed.
  4. Select Health Savings from the Account Type field in the Account Information section.
  5. Enter the bank account number in the Account # field.
  6. Enter the bank routing number in the Routing # field.
  7. Enter the financial allotment dollar amount.
  8. Select Save to submit the transaction to EmpowHR.

The EmpowHR procedure is being updated to reflect this change. To view this procedure, select HR and Payroll Clients from the MyNFC drop-down menu on the NFC Home page. At the HR and Payroll Clients page, select the Publications tab, select NFC System Documentation from the Publications Library section, and then select the applicable system/application page to access the procedure manual.
