Reminder of Paperless Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement and Form 1095-C, Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage

Summary

As a reminder, Agencies may run and print Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement and 1095-C, Employer-Provided Health Insurance Offer and Coverage via the Reporting Center (RPCT). Employees have the option to access (and print) their 2024 Form W-2 and 1095-C electronically via the Employee Personal Page (EPP).

Note: EPP will prompt employees to opt out of having a paper copy of their W-2 and 1095-C mailed. This message will remain until the employee chooses the paperless option. Employees who have elected the paperless option in EPP will not receive a copy in the mail but will be able to access it electronically via EPP.

Note: Employees have until 12/14/24 to opt out of having their 2024 W-2/1095-C mailed.

Implementation

Reporting Center

Agencies have the option to access and print reports 1095-C Statement and W-2 Wage and Tax Statement in RPCT under the Financial Reports menu.

Agency representatives without current RPCT access (or without access to the reports 1095-C and W-2) should submit a request for access via their Agency Security Officer.

EPP

Employees have the option to receive (and print) their Form W-2 and 1095-C electronically via EPP. Also, employees will be able to import their Form W-2 information into TurboTax.

Employees can elect to receive their Form W-2 and 1095-C electronically via EPP under the Preferences menu, by selecting the Change Paper W-2 & 1095-C.

The Forms W-2 and 1095-C are available to print in EPP under the Personal Info menu, by selecting either the W-2 or 1095-C.

Note: Employees will be able to change how their W-2 and 1095-C are received (electronically or by mail) from EPP between PP 01 through PP 24 of this calendar year. This option will not be available after PP 24 of this calendar year. Employees can opt out of having their 2024 W-2/1095-C mailed until 12/14/24.
