Summary
The city tax rate for Bowling Green, Covington and Florence, Kentucky, includes the following changes:
- The employee tax rate for Bowling Green has changed from 1.84 to 2.00 percent.
- Covington maximum withholding wage base will increase from $160,200.00 to $168,600 and the maximum annual withholding from $3,924.90 to $4,130.70.
- Florence maximum withholding wage base will increase from $160,200.00 to $168,600 and the maximum annual withholding from $3,204.00 to $3,372.00.

- Multiply the gross biweekly wages by the number of pay dates in the tax year to obtain the annual wages.
- To determine the annual Kentucky city income tax withholding, multiply the gross annual wages by the appropriate city income tax percentage in the table below.
