Summary
The menu that callers receive when contacting the National Finance Center’s Call Center (NCC) is being updated.
Implementation
The menu has been reordered to better assist callers in selecting the option that matches their authority level. This change is intended to improve the customer experience by reducing redirections that occur when callers select options available only to authorized Agency contacts.
As a reminder, Agency contacts must be listed in the Table Management System (TMGT) Table 063, Department/Agency/Bureau Contact, to have their inquiry processed by the NCC. These authorized Agency contacts are then directed only to those areas authorized to assist them.
New NCC Menu Options
Following are the new NCC menu options:
- Current and former employees calling for Employee Personal Page (EPP) password resets or biling issues, press 1.
- For EPP password resets, press 1.
- For billing and claims, press 2.
- Federal Agencies or tribal organization calling for assistance with Federal Employees Health Benefits, Centralized Enrollment Clearinghouse System (CLER) or Tribal Insurance Processing System (TIPS), press 2.
- For assistance with CLER, press 1.
- For Assistance with TIPS, press 2.
- Agency Authorized Contacts listed in TMGT Table 063, press 3.
- For assistance with payroll related issues, press 1.
- For assistance with personnel related issues, press 2.
- For assistance with Insight, Reporting Center, or other reporting issues, press 3.
- For assistance with EmpowHR, press 4.
- For assistance with EPP, press 5.
- For assistance with time and attendance solutions, press 6.
- For assistance with billings and claims, press 7.
- For assistance with military service deposit or retirement, press 8.
- For military deposit, press 1.
- For retirement or separation, press 2.
Updating Table 063
Agency representatives with the authority to update can enter the Department/Agency/Bureau contact information in TMGT. Agency representatives desiring update authority to TMGT 063 may contact their Agency's security officer. Agencies that do not have representatives with update authority may submit the TMGT update request via ServiceNow.
Note: A copy of the appropriate screen print containing the data to be added to Table 063 should be included with the request.
