OPM Telework Updates

Summary

Per the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) standards, new required fields have been added to the Individual Position record to indicate the type of remote or telework arrangement and the Program and Project Management Job Identifier (PGMID) information the employee has with the employing Agency.

Implementation

FESI

The following two new field numbers have been added to Document Type 2056, Multi-Element Update:

• 243, 2 positions
• 245, 1 position

Insight

The following two new data elements have been added to the PMSO feed in Insight:

• Remote/Telework Agreement Type (two-character alpha field). Valid values are:
  • NN - Non-Teleworker
  • RW - Remote Work Agreement
  • TF - Frequent Routine Telework Agreement
  • TP - Periodic Routine Telework Agreement
  • TS - Situational Telework Agreement
  • MW - Mobile Work Agreement
• Program and Project Management Job Identifier (one-character numeric field). Valid values are:
  • 1 - Program Management
  • 2 - Project Management
  • 3 - Program and Project Management
  • 4 - Not applicable

PMSO

The following two new fields have been added to the Individual Position:

• Remote/Telework Agreement Type. Valid values are:
  • MW - Mobile Work Agreement
  • NN - Non-teleworker
  • RW - Remote Work Agreement
  • TF - Frequent Routine Telework Agreement
  • TP - Periodic Routine Telework Agreement
  • TS - Situational Telework Agreement
• Program and Project Management Job Identifier. Valid values are: 
  • 1 - Program Management
  • 2 - Project Management
  • 3 - Program and Project Management
  • 4 - Not applicable
